HopperMate

As a part of the Seatools Dredgemate® family the HopperMate® system is used on hopper dredgers monitor the loading condition, suction tube configuration(s), dredge depth(s) and production data.

HopperMate® consists of the following software modules:

• One CMS (Cargo Monitoring System).
• One or two SPMS (Suction Pipe Monitoring Systems).
• One or two PMS (Production Monitoring Systems)

The HopperMate® receives signals from several sensors on the hopper dredge (draught, hopper level, suction tube(s)), calculates the relevant vessel loading and suction tube configuration figures based on fixed dredge data and presents this to the operators and sends information via given data protocol to other users (BIS, MARS).

Furthermore, the tidal information is transmitted to the system for correction of the calculated dredge depth and the system is hooked-up to a GPRS interface modem (SIM supply by client) for remote intervention purposes
