Heave and motion compensation systems

Seatools has extensive experience in designing and building motion compensation systems, from straightforward heave compensators to full 3D motion compensators.

We have the in-house capability to design and build complete systems. Depending on client preferences we can supply anything from OEM solutions, such as a black box controller with sensors, to complete turn-key systems that include mechanical, electrical and hydraulic hardware as well as state of the art software. Our knowledge of motion sensors enables us to confidently advise on the application and limitations of sensors and control systems. A key part of the Seatools design process is extensive simulation which helps us to ensure that the end product is delivered 'first time right'.
