ROV 6

This fall pipe ROV, called ROV 6, was designed to meet the specifications of Van Oord, operates in water depths well over 1000 metres. It is powered by two 150 kW powerpacks and it's control system includes advanced control algorithms such as:

-          Follow track line

-          Tracking speed control

-          Auto swing mode

The ROV is equipped with two hydraulically adjustable deflector flaps and two survey equipment frames that host an extensive array of survey equipment, including the very latest multibeam sonars. ROV 6 is equipped with a remote access facility, allowing service engineers to assist the crew in diagnosing problems as well as optimising performance.
